Eventually, everything will change. There is nothing you can do about it. Suddenly, people who you think are always going to be there… disappear. They grow up, they move away, or worse, they die. Losing someone can feel like a dream - you know the one where you’re falling and you’re trying desperately to wake up before you hit the ground? It usually hurts. It feels as though someone kicks you in the stomach and your heart stops beating. And the only thing to come out of the whole ugly experience is this: nothing else will be able to hurt you like that again. But what I realized is that it’s a good thing to go through loss at one point or another in your lifetime. When you get to the healing part of this, you will have so much love to share. You will be able to appreciate your loved ones in ways even you cannot even understand. All the pain you go through will eventually teach you some of the greatest lessons in life you will ever need to learn. You will be so much stronger than you were before.
Guns & Roses - November Rain
for the hopeless romantics.
Last night I had a dream that we went to Disneyland,
Went on all the rides, didn’t have to wait in line.
I drove you to your house where we stared up at the stars
I listened to your heartbeat as I held you in my arms.
We hung out at the rainbow where we drank til’ half past two.
Nothing could go wrong anytime that I’m with you.
Like crashing a hotel room or leading up to that first kiss
Or searching for a high school that you know doesn’t exist…
These are the things that make me free
I feel like I’m stuck in “stand by me”
This night was too good to be true.
